What areas does your pickup and drop off area service?

ADVS SYDNEY services all of Greater Sydney: ( The Hills, The Shire, Canterbury, The Hawkesbury, most of the Blue Mountains, Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, Illawarra, MacArthur, Inner West). All of these areas are covered by our complementary pickup and drop off service. If you are located outside of these areas, you are more than welcome to post your media to us! We would highly recommend Australia Post with Express tracking where possible. N.b. We take not responsibility for items lost or damaged that are sent in postage, so make sure you have the right insurances where necessary.

What is the usual turnaround time?

We strive to have your media returned to you within 2 weeks ( usually within a week) though this depends on the current workload and runtimes of media accordingly. Our friendly consultant can inform you with an approximate time on pickup or via enquiry.

Do I get my original media back?

Absolutely! All of your media is returned through your preferred collection channel, unless informed otherwise.

Help! My media is damaged, can you fix it?

Most media types can be fixed, depending on the damage sustained. (Mould, dust, vermin, snapped tapes, broken tape cartridges etc). Although, some damage will be permanent and irretrievable ( Tape delamination, severe mould damage, heavily scratched and broken discs, demagnetised media, broken hard drives…) though our consultants can inform you on pickup in most cases!

Can the quality of my media be improved?

Depending on your media, we do offer upscaling/ remastering at an additional fee. This process includes : upscaling (to HD or 4k), colour correction and balancing, sharpening, dust and dirt removal, image stabilisation, deinterlacing among others! Speak to one of our friendly consultants for more info on how to get your media looking the absolute best it can be!

Can you develop unprocessed negatives?

Unfortunately not, there are strict guidelines and regulations with processing film, though there are still a few places that can do this for you! Please ask your consultant for further information

Do you do any editing?

Unfortunately not, though we can provide you with software program suggestions to try yourself :)
